Y Beudy Pencoed is a charming detached stone holiday cottage. Situated across the quiet lane from the owners home at the top of a ridge just a few minutes from the A5 between Corwen and Bala on the borders of gwynedd and Denbighshire, this lovely country hideaway is an ideal base for all kinds of country holidays. Formerly part of Lord Newborough's historic Rhug Estate, Pencoed is now owned and loved by its current owners who have carefully converted this former cattle byre into a cosy, immaculate self-catering holiday cottage for 2+2+baby. Set just beside the quiet lane with lots of space for parking, outdoor eating and barbecue, this lovely cottage is tucked away yet surprisingly handy for the local Organic Farm Shop, Cafe and Farmers Market. The area and the cottage lend themselves equally to an active outdoor pursuits holiday, a gentle relaxed reading and rambling holiday or touring and sightseeing. The dining kitchen is spacious and airy, with all new kitchen units, tops and fittings. There is an electric cooker, a microwave oven and a fridge with freezer compartment. There is a washing machine for guests to use in the adjoining outbuilding. The sitting room has an external door a TV, DVD and video. A double sofa bed allows for +2 guests to stay. A radiant fire is provided for additional heat. The curving timber staircase leads from here up to the charming gallery bedroom which has a beamed vaulted ceiling and double bed. A cot is available for infants aged up to 2 years. A delightful conservatory with comfy chairs enjoys views and access via the garden door to the rear of the cottage. A beautifully tiled shower room/wc is accessed via the conservatory.
